My journey with hats began in Houston, where a cowboy hat is more than an accessory—it’s a way of life. Over 25 years ago, I entered the trade under the guidance of my uncle, Tony Matthews, a respected name in the hat industry. Those early years included road shows and seasons at M.L. Leddy’s Boot & Saddlery in Fort Worth, where craftsmanship, proper shaping, and customer service were non-negotiable. Learning from industry leaders like M.L. Leddy’s and The Hat Store of Houston shaped both my skill and my standards.

Rooted in Texas tradition, custom cowboy hats are the foundation of everything we create. Our fashion hats are born from that same process—each beginning with an open crown and wide, flat brim. Leatherwork naturally complements the craft, allowing us to create custom leather goods that translate each client’s vision, brought to life by our in-house artists.

Today, we serve clients around the world. While in-person service is always preferred, our experience allows us to deliver the same level of craftsmanship and care remotely. Every piece we make is custom, shaped with intention, and designed to be uniquely yours.
